Idle Mafia Game Expansion

Idle Mafia Game expansion: six cities, 16 to 30 districts, and how Families should restaff the map.

Updated

Idle Mafia Game expanded city tabs including Veilmont

Expansion is the map half of the Idle Mafia Game big update. Early sessions show 16 districts. Later HUDs show 30. City tabs include New Ashport, Port Caldera, Volkovsk, Jade Harbor, Sterling Cross, and Veilmont. If you quit before 30 August 2026 and returned to a wider row of tabs, this is why.

What Expansion is not

It is not a new Roblox place. It is not a prestige reset. Your Jobs, Bank, and Crew stay. Expansion adds nodes to contest and more empty gold for ghost Families to fail to hold. Personal Properties still matter; do not sell your economy to buy a crown you cannot staff. Cash math remains in how to get cash.

How to play the wider map

Port Caldera is still the tutorial coast. Learn claims there, then send officers to Veilmont and Sterling Cross instead of stacking five people on Cannery Row. The territory map names the Port Caldera nodes. Other cities use the same claim UI: inspect, buy or contest, watch the bar.

A Family that held 3 of 16 and now holds 3 of 30 did not get weaker — the denominator grew. Recruit using join a Family or give up filler nodes on purpose as described in protect turf.

War implications

More nodes mean more 4am flips. Expansion without a night officer is how you screenshot 0 of 30 at level 54 with $1.32B on hand. Money does not hold land. People do. Beat rivals by picking understaffed expansion cities, not by brawling the same Port Caldera node forever.

Heists and Loot still run during Expansion weeks. Do not cancel the economy to paint the map. Alternate war nights and Job nights.

Expansion is a staffing test disguised as a geography drop. The art director added docks and lighthouses. The systems designer added more empty gold for dead tags to fail. If your Family cannot name an officer for Veilmont, do not click Veilmont. Hold a Port Caldera pocket and recruit using join a Family until the denominator looks less embarrassing.

Inspect buy-ins again after Expansion. A node that cost $500,000 on day one may not cost that after the district count jumps. Believe the inspect panel. The income calculator is only as good as the number you type tonight.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Did my old districts vanish?

No. The counter grew. Check every city tab before you assume a loss.

Which new city is best?

The one your rivals are not staffing. Prestige names are traps if the bar is already red.
